It's an enriching experience at Bellerbys College.

Ever wondered how to extract DNA from a strawberry?

Or maybe you want to try singing and dancing on the stage?

Last week I found out what our A Level, GCSE and Bellerbys Summer students get up to during their enrichment classes. From learning how to write the best university application to expanding their science knowledge with chemistry experiments, it looked like an exciting week.

In Senior Chemistry Club at Bellerbys Brighton, students got the chance to make florescent slime. Take a look:

More science experiments were enjoyed during Young Innovators club. Whilst learning the biology of plants, students put on their goggles and began to extract DNA from a strawberry. Patience and concentration was key for this experiment:

Kevin Brady, Enrichment Programme Manager, said: "The Enrichment Programme is an exciting, progressive and fun way to develop key knowledge and gain practical skills across all pathways. The wide range of academic classes, lectures and study trips also allow students to build high quality university portfolios."

Students also took part in the Broadway Experience club where they got to learn a new dance routine.

Angel from Malyasia, a Bellerbys A Level student, said: "It's really fun. We do all sorts of dance and we also learn singing at the same time. All the activities are really fun."

There are so many activities on offer for students and it was great to see first-hand how passionate they are about their subjects and interests.
